About the role:
Zorro is looking for a results oriented, entrepreneurial-minded Account Executive to join our growing Commercial Team. As an ideal candidate, you have comfort in the written and spoken word, significant experience in smart business development activities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment without fear of change and challenge. At Zorro, you will focus on creating a pipeline of qualified benefits brokers, identifying new client opportunities, building quotes, advising on plan design strategies, leading demos and meetings, managing a high-velocity sales cycle, and helping the team further our mission of making health insurance easier to access and afford through ICHRA.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the insurance or benefits industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving revenue targets
- Ability to articulate a compelling value proposition to senior leaders
- Advanced analytical skills for running complex quotes and evaluating health benefits options
- Proficiency in sales technology tools (Hubspot preferred)
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel, as needed
Bonus points:
- Experience working with ICHRA or other health benefits
- Knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry
- A deep understanding of sales methodologies and best practices
