Most of us joined Zorro because we wanted to help fix some of the more complicated parts of the health insurance benefits system. We were looking for a place where we could take on massive industry challenges and actually see the needle move.

In the healthcare world, this is a heavy-hitter list. Every year, Modern Healthcare looks at a range of companies across the country — from massive health systems to nimble tech startups — and selects just 150 that intentionally create a supportive employee culture.
What makes this recognition feel different than a typical industry award is how the winner is chosen. It isn’t a "pay-to-play" situation or a decision made by a remote panel of judges. In fact, 80% of our score came directly from an anonymous survey our own team took earlier this year. Essentially, we won because the people who work here said Zorro is worth showing up for.
