Zorro is looking for Seasonal Customer Operations Specialists to join our customer servicing and operational team. This role will focus on payment and enrollment operations with insurance carriers and client support for employees–impacting the core of our service effectiveness and client satisfaction. Availability full-time October 2025 through January 2026.
Key responsibilities:
Our exceptional Customer Operations team is multifaceted in its functions and responsibilities. Members of our team will assist in the following areas:
- Carrier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with Zorro’s network of 80+ carrier partners. Represent Zorro and ICHRA and build productive collaborations that allow us to enroll, triage and handle our growing volume of insurance enrollments.
- Enrollment Operations: Follow and maintain processes for enrolling Zorro members with insurance carriers. Document and build detailed instructions for each new carrier operational flow.
- Payment Operations: Work with clients and carriers to ensure the proper and timely processing of premium payments.
- Enrollment Consultation Operations: Help provide shopping guidance, assisting employees with plan selection.
- Employee Support: Help with employee support operations, including knowledge documentation, chat, email, and phone support.

- Operations All-Star: A true Swiss Army knife—able to move seamlessly between running large-scale processes and digging deep into audit reports to spot anomalies others might miss.
- Detail-Obsessed: Accuracy isn’t optional here. You thrive in the weeds, love handling complex details, and know that in financial transactions and insurance applications, nothing less than 100% precision will do.
- Tech-Savvy: Not just comfortable with new tools, but eager to improve processes with them. Bonus points if you’ve worked with Intercom or explored AI/agentic tools.
- Data-Confident: You know your way around spreadsheets, dashboards, and product outputs.
- Curious and Innovative: Eager to dive into a new industry, ask smart questions, and apply novel solutions to unique challenges.
- Startup Attitude: A self-starter with a “get-it-done” mindset. You enjoy the fast pace, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and thrive on constant challenges.
Background:
- A BA or current college student
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, data processing, or similar fields
- Experience in health insurance or benefits is a plus, but not mandatory.
